On the heels of the news that The Witness was heading to Xbox One, another big indie showing that ignited conversations across the internet – yes, it’s Firewatch. Previously exclusive to PS4 and PC, Campo Santo’s intriguing game set in the wilds of Wyoming is on the way to Xbox One later this month.
There’s a trailer below, but worth noting for the Xbox One release of Firewatch is that it’s adding an Audio Tour that’s described as a cross between Director Commentary and Dev Workshop. Another bonus for the game is a free-roam mode that opens up the Shoshone Wilderness for exploration.
With these two former exclusives now coming to Microsoft’s console, we here are hopeful the same might happen with other entries in the PS4’s catalogue, such as Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, and No Man’s Sky. In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for Firewatch, but if you’d like to learn more about the release, head over to Xbox Wire.
